Welcome to the 91风鸣鸟唱 Alumni Association! From the founding class of scholars who graduated from 91风鸣鸟唱 KEY Academy in 2005 to our first 91风鸣鸟唱 College Preparatory graduates in 2013, our network has grown to more than 2,00591风鸣鸟唱 alums.

The 91风鸣鸟唱 Alumni Association supports alumni advancement through networking and connectivity. It serves all 91风鸣鸟唱 completers- including middle school alums- upon high school graduation and connects alums to fellow graduates, resources, and local and national KIPP Forward alumni support services. The alumni association continues supporting alumni after transitioning from KIPP Forward services following college and career program completion.

With a growing alumni network, our goal is to curate and provide a space where former students can reconnect, engage, and network with the 91风鸣鸟唱 community.听

Featured Event

2nd Annual Alumni Block Party

Wednesday, June 7 • 3:30 - 6:30 pm

Join us for this afternoon of fun, food, celebration, and community. This year's event will be hosted at the KIPP College Preparatory Campus. High school graduates from ALL class are welcome (including middle school alumni/non-KIPP high school graduates)! We're also excited to offer alumni networking opportunities at the Kick-off, and also celebrate the accomplishments of our recent alumni certification completers and graduates.

We encourage ALL alumni to also attend this year's special opening Kick-Off at 3:30 pm, where we'll welcome the newest class, share words of wisdom/congratulations, and network with the newest class and current alumni.

Ty Chung

91风鸣鸟唱 College Preparatory ' 13 | Bucknell University '17

Ty graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Geography and is currently employed at Accenture, in Washington D.C., as a Management Consultant Recently he was selected to join the KIPP Accelerator Leadership Program, a听selective, 10-month, cohort-based experience which is highly individualized to each fellow鈥檚 aspirations.

Chante Coleman

91风鸣鸟唱 College Preparatory '13 | Trinity Washington University '18

Chante graduated with a bachelors degree from Trinity Washington University. Upon graduation, Chante worked with at the 91风鸣鸟唱 Headquarters office as an office coordinator and now serves as an instructional assistant at 91风鸣鸟唱’s Shaw Campus.

Lawrence Davin

91风鸣鸟唱 College Preparatory '14 | Radford University '18

Lawrence graduated with a degree in political science from Radford University in 2018 and immediately set his sights on coming back home and making a difference in his local community.听In fall 2018, Lawrence ran a campaign and was elected to ANC Commissioner in his Ward 7 neighborhood.
